Birth of a Star
Saba Khan
When I turn my head, look above a star studded sky, I imagine what am I looking at, are these stars or suns of other solar systems, because from afar they look the same. My eyes cannot tell the difference between the two, but difference is there, depending upon the point of reference.
I wonder, in the big vacuum that the galaxies reside in, I am breathing in and out, the air, the ozone layer making it possible, for us to live, whereas the vacuum is waiting to suck it all. I believe, if there is a dooms day, it might be when this happens.
The silence of the sky, disappoints and excites me at the same time, if my ears cannot listen, this doesn’t mean there is no sound, what about sound waves that are beyond the frequency of listening. Events carried out by Angels, by the word of God, a new and exciting scenario, which is hidden from my ears.
There is so much effortless effort, going on in the workings of this universe, making it spin, like a clockwork, and here I am, unaware, worrying about what will I eat in the evening! Which is important, of course, but a great many distractions cause amnesia, from the real purpose.
Coming to the purpose of life, each one has different. We thrive in diversity and live in harmony if we see that. What if all the colors were the same? No reds, blues and greens. We identify each and everything, from it’s opposite. What is darkness, if not the absence of light…
